Foxford Woollen Mill

One of the last working mills in Ireland, Foxford was founded by an Irish Sister of Charity in 1892. In the following century the mill has withstood and overcome many challenges (including a devastating fire) in order to survive.

Today, the mill employs 40 people from the local community, including master craftsmen and is the perfect marriage of traditional skill and contemporary design.
